Robert C. Bateman is Executive Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Emeritus Senior Living, and he joined the company in December 2009. He has significant experience as a senior financial executive and has served as the Chief Financial Officer for companies in the health care, technology and communications industries, including current and former Nasdaq-listed companies Fisher Communications, Inc.; Applied Microsystems Corporation; and NeoPath, Inc. Mr. Bateman began his career at Ernst & Young LLP in 1987. He holds both CPA and CMA certifications.
