Michael McCloskey

Michael McCloskey is the President and Founder of GreensKeeper Asset Management Inc., a division of Lightwater Partners Ltd. He has over 17 years of experience in the securities industry. After completing his formal education — B.S. in mathematics, J.D./MBA — Mr. McCloskey joined the Toronto law firm of Aird & Berlis LLP as an Associate and was made a Partner of the firm in 2000. His legal career focused on corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. In 2002 Mr. McCloskey left the practice of law to join Sprott Securities, now Cormark Securities Inc., as an Investment Banker and Partner of the firm. He joined Cormark Securities Inc. at the time of a management-led buyout of the firm from its founder. Mr. McCloskey resigned from investment banking in 2010 in order to establish GreensKeeper Asset Management Inc.
