Matthew Albert Nissim

MATTHEW ALBERT NISSIM is President of Pioneer Commercial Funding Corp.,
a listed company arranging bridge financing on residential mortgages. He
is a Board member of Tuffy Associates Corp., a franchise organization in
the automotive field. Mr. Nissim was born in 1933 of British parentage
in Shanghai, China, interned by the Japanese during WWII and returned to
Shanghai after the war. He left China in 1950 after Communist takeover
and went to London. He went to Canada in 1954 and then to the United
States in 1957, first to California and then to New York. He married in
1966 and moved to Hong Kong to run the family electronics and banking
business. Mr. Nissim returned to the US in 1969 and has remained in the
New York area. He read Physics at the University of London for a
Bachelor’s degree in Science and lectured on random particle movement
while studying for advanced degrees at McGill University, Montreal. He
took additional law and business courses while living in California. He
has been President of ICTS 1994 (US) from its inception and was Managing
Director of its parent company in Holland until 1996. He then assumed
the title of Secretary. From 1991 to 1994 he was President of Harel &
Partners, a New York-based investment company. His work included
identifying and developing business opportunities and arranging for
appropriate financing. From 1987 to 1991 he was Senior VP at American
Express Bank in New York. From 1982 to 1987 he was VP, Acquisitions for
Aracca Petroleum Corp. From 1975 to 1982 he was President and majority
stockholder of the Carolina Group. From 1971 to 1975 he was VP of Texas
International Financial Services. From 1969 to 1971 he was a Registered
Representative with Thomson McKinnon Auchincloss in New York. From 1966
to 1969 he was Managing Director of Realtone Electronics Ltd. in Hong
Kong.
