Jos A. Collazo

JOS A. COLLAZO is Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive
Officer of Infonet Services Corporation. Mr. Collazo has been a major
influencer in the development of Infonet as a leading company in the
market for global data communications and services. Operating a
worldwide data communications network, Infonet maintains a sales and
support organization providing value-added services in more than 70
countries around the world. Prior to assuming the Chairman, President
and CEO position at Infonet in 1988, Mr. Collazo held a variety of
management positions at Computer Sciences Corporation, a NYSE-listed
company. At CSC since 1969, his assignments included Director of Product
Development, Director of Industry Planning and Development, General
Manager of various international subsidiaries, Director of International
Operations and President of the International Division. In 1986, he was
named head of all CSC’s network services activities in the
international, US commercial and US government marketplace. In 1988, Mr.
Collazo was elected Chairman of the Board, President and CEO of Infonet
Services Corporation. In 1999, Mr. Collazo oversaw Infonet Services
Corporation’s initial public offering, which raised over $750 million
for Infonet. It was the second largest US telecom IPO and the largest
telecom offering in the US in 1999. During the last 25 years, Mr.
Collazo has been a member of the Board of Directors of a variety of high
technology companies around the world. He is currently a member of the
Board of Directors of the Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific and
Pepperdine University. Mr. Collazo has been quoted as an industry expert
in a series of top-tier publications. He has also spoken at a variety of
leading industry conferences. In addition, Mr. Collazo received the 2002
Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and was named a finalist in
the World Communication Awards 2002 Anderson Lifetime Achievement
category. In addition, in 1990 he was awarded the Outstanding Alumni
Award by Pepperdine University. He received his BS degree from Northrop
University in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering and received an
MBA from Pepperdine University. Mr. Collazo is also a graduate of
Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and Management
Executive Program.
