Jordan L. Kimmel

Jordan L. Kimmel is the Managing Member of Magnet Management LLC, the
general partner of the Magnet Fund LP, and is responsible for the
portfolio management of the partnership. He has developed the MAGNET’
stock selection strategy, the subject of a book, Magnet’ Investing, that
includes an introduction by John Downes, co-author of Beating the Dow.
He has been managing the Magnet Fund LP since its inception in 1997. He
is also a managing member of the Magnet Investment Group, LLC, a
registered investment advisor, and the Branch Manager of the Magnet
Investment Group. Magnet Management LLC has licensed its stock selection
process to John Nuveen and Co. John Nuveen & Co. has issued Unit
Investment Trusts applying the MAGNET’ stock selection process to
several different indexes. The product is marketed under the name
‘GEMS.’ Prior to launching the Magnet Fund and from 1994, he was a
First Vice President at Dean Witter. Earlier in his career, he was an
account executive at Paine Webber and A.G. Edwards. A graduate of the
State University of New York at Stony Brook, he holds a BA in Economics
and an MS in Urban Policy Sciences. He is also a graduate of the Bronx
High School of Science. He holds the position of Market Strategist for,
and is also a registered representative with Brookstreet Securities
Corporation, a national brokerage firm with more than 400 independent
brokers, with headquarters in Irvine, California. He appears regularly
on ABC, CNBC, FOX, CNN and Bloomberg TV. He is quoted frequently in
national newspapers.
