JOHN MCMICHAEL is Chief Executive Officer of Milkhaus Laboratory. Prior
to joining Milkhaus Mr. McMichael was with the Microbiology Department,
University of Maine from 1967-1971; 1970-1971 Bacteriology Laboratory,
Eastern Maine Medical Center, Bangor, Maine; 1971-1973 Department of
Microbiology, Oregon State, Research Assistant; 1973-1974 The Wistar
Institute, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Research Associate; 1974-1975
Howard Veterinary Consultation and Research, Brawley, California, Head,
Infectious Disease Section; 1975-1986 Assistant, Associate, and Full
Professor, Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, Edinboro, Pennsylvania;
1976-Present, Established Milkhaus Laboratory with Dr. Ellis Kline.
Provides veterinary diagnostic services to local veterinarians;
applications of the several technologies developed for humans;
1987-1992, CoFounded Molecular RX and ImmunoTherapeutics to exploit
technology stemming from responses to practitioners requests; 1993-
Present, Founded Milkhaus Veterinary Products, Inc. to expand the scope
of work in the field of novel therapeutics; 1995-Present, Founded
Milkhaus Veterinary Products, Inc. to concentrate on the domestic animal
applications of the severa; technologies developed for humans; 1998-
Present, Founded Milkhaus Foundation for Children to support projects in
autism, cerebral palsy, and non-medical interests relating to the plight
of rural poverty among children. And from 2003-Present, Founded
Institute for Innovative Medicine to complement the work of Milkhaus
Laboratory, Inc. and Milkhaus Veterinary Products while expanding the
field of interest beyond Milkhaus’s borders to collaborat with other
investigators working on projects addressing the same type of diseases.
Mr. McMichael has a BS in Microbiology, University of Maine; Ph.D,
Virology/Immunology, Oregon State University and a Post Doc: The Wistar
Institute, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
