John C. Allen

JOHN C. ALLEN is Interim President and Chief Executive Officer of Energy
West, Inc. Mr. Allen has been with the company since 1986 when he was
hired as its Corporate Counsel and Secretary. He was appointed General
Counsel, Vice President and Secretary for the company in 1992, and has
served in that capacity until his appointment as Interim President and
CEO in September 2003. Mr. Allen was a Staff Attorney for the Montana
Consumer Counsel from 1979 to 1986. He has served as a Board Member and
President of the Great Falls Chapter of the Society of Human Resource
Management and is the Finance Chair of the Montana Council of the Boy
Scouts of America. Mr. Allen has a degree in English from Brigham Young
University and a JD from William Mitchell College of Law.
