James L. Kaplan

JAMES L. KAPLAN is Portfolio Manager and Founder of J.L. Kaplan
Associates. He earned a PhD in Applied Mathematics in 1970 from the
University of Maryland and was an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at
Northwestern University from 1970-1972. Dr. Kaplan was a tenured
Associate Professor at Boston University from 1972-1985. As an
academician, he published over 30 papers in scholarly journals, was the
co-author of a calculus textbook, and was a frequent lecturer on
applications of mathematics at national and international conferences.
