Howard A. Thrailkill

HOWARD A. THRAILKILL is President, Director and Chief Operating Officer
of ADTRAN. He joined ADTRAN in 1992. Previously, he was President and
Chief Executive Officer of Floating Point Systems, Inc., a super
minicomputer manufacturer. He is also a past President and Chief
Executive Officer of Saxpy Computer Corp., a parallel computer
manufacturer. Other positions held by Mr. Thrailkill during his career
include President of Motorola Computer Systems and Vice President of
Motorola, Inc. He also previously served as Division General Manager at
Harris Corp., a diversified electronics manufacturer.
