Glenn Welstad

Glenn Welstad is the President, Chairman and CEO of Command Center, Inc. Mr. Welstad graduated from the University of North Dakota with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Following his graduation, Mr. Welstad was active in the restaurant business for 15 years. Beginning with one restaurant in 1969, he formed Northwest Management Corporation with two partners, and they grew the company to 22 restaurants located in five states. In 1984 he sold his interest in Northwest Management. Beginning in 1989, Mr. Welstad, along with two partners, founded Labor Ready, and they opened the first Labor Ready office in Kent, Wash. Mr. Welstad built the organization from a startup into an international NYSE company with 867 offices located in four countries and $975 million in revenue. He served as CEO and Chairman of Labor Ready until his retirement in June 2000. In 2003, Mr. Welstad founded Command Staffing, LLC, the predecessor of Command Center. He also was a Founder of Harborview Software Inc. and a number of staffing offices, all of which were later merged into Command Center.
