Floyd Benjamin

FLOYD BENJAMIN has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Akorn,
Inc. since November 1998. He was Executive Vice President of the company
and President of Taylor Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (a subsidiary of the
company) from May 1996 to November 1998. He was President of Pasadena
Research Laboratories, Inc. (PRL) from October 1994 to May 1996 and
consultant to PRL from October 1993 to October 1994. He was also
President and Chief Executive Officer of Neocrin, Inc. (a biomedical
venture capital company) from February 1992 to October 1993. Prior to
February 1992, he was Chief Operating Officer of Lyphomed, Inc.
(injectable pharmaceuticals).
