Alex Bouzari

ALEX BOUZARI is the co-Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of
DataDirect Networks, a leading provider of Storage Area Network (SAN)
infrastructure products. Mr. Bouzari brings with him more than 11
consecutive years of experience in running profitable, fast-growth
companies in the field of high technology. Prior to DataDirect Networks,
he was President at MegaDrive Systems, Inc., a leading provider of high-
performance RAID and storage systems to the video, prepress and
supercomputing markets. MegaDrive Systems products have won numerous
industry awards. The company was the recipient of two Fast50 Deloitte &
Touche high-growth awards, and Mr. Bouzari was a finalist in Ernst &
Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year award. Prior to MegaDrive Systems, Mr.
Bouzari was CEO at Personal Writer, Inc., a company specializing in
handwriting recognition technology. Mr. Bouzari holds Bachelor’s of
Science degrees in Engineering and Economics from the California
Institute of Technology (Caltech), where he graduated with the highest
GPA in his class. He has complemented his education with studies in
Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and at
Stanford University.
