Albert H. Nahmad

ALBERT H. NAHMAD is Chairman, President and CEO of Watsco, Inc., a
public company whose shares are traded on the New York Stock Exchange.
Watsco, Inc. is the nation’s largest distributor of residential central
air conditioners, gas furnaces and related products. Before joining
Watsco, Mr. Nahmad was a Group Vice President of W.R. Grace & Co. in New
York City and a Management Consultant for Arthur Young & Co., also in
New York City. Mr. Nahmad received a Bachelor of Science degree in
Mechanical Engineering in 1962 from the University of New Mexico at
Albuquerque, New Mexico and a Master of Science degree in Industrial
Administration in 1963 from Purdue University at West Lafayette,
Indiana. Mr. Nahmad has resided in Miami for the last twenty-four years
where he moved to become Chief Executive Officer of Watsco, Inc. He is
married with two children.
