Scott A. Mushkin is a Managing Director and Senior Retail/Staples Analyst at Wolfe Research, LLC. Mr. Mushkin joined Wolfe Research, LLC in May 2013 as a Managing Director and Senior Research Analyst covering consumer staples retailers, including discount retailers, supermarkets and drugstores, with a focus on the burgeoning healthy lifestyle industry. He brings more than 20 years of combined buy-side and sellside experience. In  Institutional Investor’s 2014 poll, Mr. Mushkin was named to the All-America Research Team ranking as runner-up in the Consumer - Retailing/Food & Drug Chains category. In 2012 he ranked third in the Institutional Investor poll and was also named to the Financial Times’ StarMine Analyst Awards ranking first and third, respectively, in the “Top Stock Pickers” and “Top Earnings Estimators” lists for food & staples retailing. Additionally, in 2012, The Wall Street Journal named Mr. Mushkin to “The Master Stock Pickers” list, ranking him second in Retailers: Food & Drug. In previous years, he has consistently been recognized as a leading retail analyst by institutional clients through Institutional Investor, Forbes, StarMine/Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal and other publications. Prior to joining Wolfe Research, LLC, Mr. Mushkin was a Managing Director and Senior Retail Analyst at Jefferies & Company, Inc. He started his career in 1991 at Kidder, Peabody and has also held positions at DLJ, Lehman Brothers and Bank of America.
