Scott Mason – Apache Medical Systems Inc (amsi)

SCOTT A. MASON, DPA, FACHE, FAAHC, is Executive Vice President of APACHE Medical Systems, Inc. Prior to founding APACHE/NHA, he held a variety of positions. As a consultant with Booz Allen & Hamilton, he worked on various healthcare assignments, including role and program planning, organizational effectiveness and financial feasibility studies. Dr. Mason also worked as Staff Specialist for Multihospital Systems for the American Hospital Association, representing the trend toward hospital systems to government agencies. He worked as Corporate Director for a vertically integrated and diversified multihospital system, Samaritan Health Service (Phoenix, Arizona). Dr. Mason is a Fellow of several organizations, including the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American Association of Healthcare Consultants (Chairman 1996). He serves on several boards and is active in local chapters of various national groups. Dr. Mason has been elected to Who's Who in Health Care and the International Who's Who in Medicine. An active member of the Health Technology Network in Northern VA, he is also a member of the Advisory Board of the e-Healthcare Association (TeHA). He holds a Doctoral degree in Health Services Administration from George Washington University, a Master's degree from Pennsylvania State University and a Bachelor's degree from Duke University.
