WENDY B. CAPLAN is a Managing Director and an Equity Research Analyst in the Industrial Manufacturing Group, providing coverage of the diversified industrials and rail supply companies at ABN AMRO. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Caplan was a Vice President and an Equity Research Analyst in the Industrial Manufacturing group at Schroder Wertheim where she spent over seven years providing coverage of capital goods companies. MARK KOZNAREK is a Senior Research Analyst and a Founding Partner of Midwest Research-Maxus Group covering capital equipment, aerospace and multi-industry companies. Previously, Mr. Koznarek was a Research Analyst with Roulston & Co., he served as a Senior Financial Analyst covering the capital goods industry. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Illinois, MS degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. JOHN G. INCH has been with Bear, Stearns & Co. for over three years. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Inch was an Analyst at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter covering the automotive parts industry. In 2001, he was ranked number two in Machinery and runner-up in Multi-Industrials in the All Star Analyst poll conducted annually by Institutional Investor magazine. Mr. Inch earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the Ivy Business School at the University of Western Ontario, and his MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Prior to joining the firm in 1991, Mr. Blanton was Senior Machinery Analyst at Merrill Lynch & Co., for 18 years. At Merrill, he was on the Institutional Investor's All-American Research Team for many years and ranked number one in machinery for three years.
