PETER L. MARTIN is a Senior Vice President at Jefferies & Company, Inc.,

Martin has authored several well-regarded industry white papers and

industry. Prior to joining Jefferies & Company, Inc., Mr. Martin was an
associate in the research department at Montgomery Securities. From
1990 to 1995, he was an Analyst with Franklin/Templeton Group of Funds.
Mr. Martin received an MBA from the University of San Francisco and a BA
in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa

GERALD R. ODENING, Managing Director of JP Morgan Securities,
joined the firm via Hambrecht & Quist in 1999 to manage the
education industry research effort. Prior to H&Q, he managed the
education service industry research effort for Salomon Smith
Barney from 1994 to 1999, and has spent over 20 years in the
securities industry. He was ranked number two in the education
services category on the 1998 Institutional Investor All-America
Research Team. He received a BA from Occidental College. His
comments on the industry have appeared in such publications as
The Chronicle of Higher Education, The Wall Street Journal,
