PHOEBE WOOD – BROWN-FORMAN CORPORATION (BFB)

PHOEBE A. WOOD is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Brown-Forman Corporation. She is responsible for the financial operations of the company and its subsidiaries Brown-Forman Beverages Worldwide and Lenox, Incorporated. She is also responsible for the corporate development and strategy, controller, treasury, investor relations, tax, information technology, internal audit, and the internal consulting departments of Brown-Forman Corporation. With 24 years of US and international financial and operational management experience in energy and technology markets, Ms. Wood has served as chief financial officer and a member of the executive teams of four large divisions of Fortune 100 companies. She joined Brown-Forman from Motorola subsidiary Propel, Inc., where she served as vice president and chief financial officer. Prior to joining Motorola, Ms. Wood enjoyed a career of over 20 years with the Atlantic Richfield Company, with assignments as vice president of finance, planning and control for ARCO subsidiaries in Alaska and England. Ms. Wood was graduated cum laude by Smith College and holds an MBA from UCLA. She is a member of the Smith College Board of Trustees and is a former trustee of Alaska Pacific University.
