Jean-Paul Dubreuil

JEAN-PAUL DUBREUIL was born in 1942. He is married with three children.
Further education at the Lycee Montaigne in Bordeaux (IIEC Preparation)
and studied at Nantes’ Law School, 1974-75: ICG degree. EMPLOYMENT
HISTORY 1966: Joins the family business, taking responsibility of the
fuel division with a staff of 30. The division has recently diversified
towards odorless petrol and gas, which now makes up the best part of the
venture. In 1997, the turnover was of 160 million francs. 1974: Sees the
opening of the first supermarket BRAVO in Lucon (Vendee). Six other
supermarkets are then opened in two provinces. Left this venture in
1984. Food Distribution: Today, two shops under the logo U, with a
staff of 120 people, and a turnover of 181 millions French francs in
1997. 1975: Set up of Air Vendee, airline company specialized in
business transport. In 1992, the company becomes Regional Airlines. And
in 1995, it is elected Regional European Company of the Year. Air
Transport: The company in 1997 had a turnover of 870 million French
francs and employs 640 people. 1980: Development of the first PICTORAL
in Roche sur Yon. The opening of sites in Cholet, Rochefort then
Chantonnay follow. D.I.Y.: Today 4 shops operate under the logo of Mr.
BRICOLAGE, with a staff of 140 and a turnover in 1997 of 138 million
French francs. 1987: Acquisition of the first Peugeot outlet in Sables
d’Olonne. Automobile outlet: with a presence in two provinces, the Group
has 4 outlets with a total turnover in 1997 of 357 million French
francs. This division employs a staff of 170. 1992: Opening of the Hotel
Mercure in Roche sur Yon. The venture is completed with the opening of a
restaurant and brasserie. Hotel Business: Today, the complex employs a
staff of 30. The restaurant and hotel businesses together have a
turnover of 10 million French francs. 1994: Diversification into renting
medical materials. Set up of a company working in partnerships with
pharmacists. The Tental of Medical Materials: This company has a
turnover of 5 million French francs, and employs 8 people. 1996: The
introduction of Regional Airlines on the secondary market of the Paris
Stock Exchange. It is the first Airline Company to enter this market.
The demand for the stock at the time of introduction was 41 times higher
than the offer. Today, 35% of the equity is held by the public. 1998:
Investment in air transport in the French Antilles. Buyout of Air
Caribbean. Active participation by Air Guadeloupe. EXTRA PROFESSIONAL
