Dickerson Wright

DICKERSON WRIGHT is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of U.S.
Laboratories, Inc. Mr. Wright has a degree in Civil Engineering. In 1974
‘ 1976 he managed the onsite Civil Engineering Laboratory for the San
Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Construction Project. He started his
first company, Western States Testing, in Modesto, California, in 1976
with a $500 investment. The company grew to 10 employees and was sold in
1979 to United States Testing Company, a publicly traded company
headquartered in New Jersey. As an executive with U.S. Testing, he grew
his former company, Western States Testing, to over 200 employees. In
1985 he was promoted to Group Vice President of U.S. Testing and was
given national operating responsibilities. He left U.S. Testing in 1987
and acquired a 50% interest in American Engineering Laboratories in San
Diego. The company grew from 35 employees to over 200 in 1990. In 1990
he sold the company to Professional Services Industries, headquartered
in Illinois. He became Executive Vice President and a member of the
operating Board. He was responsible for western operations. He left
Professional Services Industries (PSI) in 1993 to found U.S.
Laboratories. Mr. Wright took the company public with its initial public
offering on February 23, 1999. U.S. Laboratories now has wholly owned
subsidiaries in California, Nevada, Washington, Virginia, Florida and
New Jersey. The company has had 28 consecutive quarters of profitability
and has approximately 500 full-time employees.
