Rodrigo Barbosa

Rodrigo Barbosa is President and CEO of Aura Minerals Inc. He joined Aura in October 2016, became President and CEO in January 2017 and member of the board in May of the same year. Previously, he was CEO of Tavex/Santista, where he led a successful strategic, financial, marketing and operational recovery. Before that, he was CFO of the investment holding Grupo Camargo Correa, one of the largest conglomerates in Brazil and parent company of Tavex/Santista. Mr. Barbosa served as a board member of the main public infrastructure companies in Brazil and worked as an investment analyst for BBA Creditanstalt also in Brazil (currently Banco Itaú). In North America, he has previously worked in Potash Corporation. Mr. Barbosa is a Mechanical Engineer with a degree from Mackenzie University. He received an MBA from the University of Southern California (USC).
