William King – Aviation Distributors (adin)

WILLIAM D. KING has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Aviation Distributors, Inc., since December 1999. Prior to joining Aviation he was a consultant; he was an Independent contractor working full and part time in several industries and serving as a member of for profit and non-profit organizations' Boards of Directors and Advisory Boards, from March 1994-December 1999; from April 1990-February 1994, he was Executive Vice President and President of the Electrical and Mechanical Groups at JWP, Inc., Purchase, NY; from May 1979-March 1990, he was President and Chief Operating Officer of International Technology Corporation, Torrance, CA.; from October 1976-May 1979, Mr. King was President of Leads Travelwear, Inc., Clayton, DE.; from February 1974- September 1976 he was President of David Pacific Corp.; from June 1973- January 1974, he was a Controller at Kaufman and Broad, Inc., Los Angeles, CA.; and from June 1969 to May 1973 he was a Senior Associate, McKinsey & Company, Inc., Los Angeles, CA. Mr. King received his Master in Business Administration degree with a primary emphasis in Finance from Harvard University, Graduate School of Business Administration; he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
