WILLIAM H. KURTZ has served as Scient's Executive Vice President and
Chief Financial Officer since August 1998. Before joining the Scient
team, he spent 15 years at AT&T in a variety of financial and
operational capacities, including Vice President of Cost Management and
Chief Financial Officer of AT&T's $25 billion Business Markets Division.
Prior to joining AT&T, Mr. Kurtz worked at Price Waterhouse from June
1979 to July 1983. He also serves as a Director of Redback Networks. Mr.
Kurtz is a Certified Public Accountant and received a Bachelor's of
Science in Accounting from Rider University and a Master's of Science in
Management from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Profile
