WILLIAM R. FATT became Chief Executive Officer for Fairmont Hotels &
Resorts Inc. (formerly Canadian Pacific Hotels) on January 1, 1998. Mr.
Fatt is also Vice Chairman of Legacy Hotels Real Estate Investment
Trust. Prior to his role at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Mr. Fatt held
various positions with Canadian Pacific Ltd. from 1988, most recently as
