Wayne Sanders – Kimberly-clark Corporation (kmb)

WAYNE R. SANDERS is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Kimberly-Clark Corporation. Mr. Sanders joined Kimberly-Clark in Neenah, Wis., as a Senior Financial Analyst in 1975, and held various business planning positions before becoming Vice President of Strategic Planning for Kimberly-Clark of Canada Limited in 1981. He was promoted to Executive Vice President of Kimberly-Clark of Canada in 1982 and to President of Kimberly-Clark of Canada and General Manager of Consumer and Service Products Operations in 1984. He became Senior Vice President of Corporate Human Resources and Logistics in 1986 and President of the Infant Care Sector in 1987. In 1988, Mr. Sanders was appointed President of the Personal Care Sector. He was elected to the company's Board of Directors in 1989, and was named President, World Consumer, Nonwovens and Service & Industrial Operations in 1990. He was elected President and Chief Operating Officer later that year, President and Chief Executive Officer in 1991, and to his present positions in 1992. Mr. Sanders received a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Marquette University. Profile
