Lovito, John
John Lovito is Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager for American Century Investments, a premier investment manager headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri. He is based in the company’s New York office. Mr. Lovito is a member of the firm’s Macro Strategy Team, which sets investment policy for the Fixed Income group, and leads the International Fixed Income Team. He also serves as a senior portfolio manager on the International Bond and Global Bond portfolios. Mr. Lovito joined the firm in 2009 from Lehman Brothers Asset Management, where he was Managing Director and Head of Global Fixed Income Strategies. In that role, he also served as Lead Portfolio Manager for global and international mandates, and chaired the Investment Strategy Committee, responsible for determining asset allocation between country, currency and sector, as well as establishing duration and yield curve policies globally. Previously, he was Senior Vice President and Team Leader for International Fixed Income. Mr. Lovito also spent 15 years in various capacities with Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., including Global Fixed Income Portfolio Manager. He has worked in the investment industry since 1986.
