Timothy L. Main was named President of Jabil Circuit, Inc. in January
1999. He is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day direction and
business operation of the company. Mr. Main joined Jabil Circuit in
April 1987 as a Production Control Manager and was promoted to
Operations Manager in September of that same year. In July 1989, he was
promoted to Project Manager. He was promoted to Vice President, Business
Development in May 1991 and later, to Senior Vice President, Business
Development. Prior to joining Jabil Circuit, Mr. Main was a commercial
lending officer in the international division of the National Bank of
Detroit. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in a Multidisciplinary
Program from Michigan State University and holds a Master's degree in
International Management from the American Graduate School of
