Thomas Mulcahy – Allied Irish Banks Plc (albk.l)

THOMAS MULCAHY is the Group Chief Executive of AIB Group Plc. Mr Mulcahy was appointed Group Chief Executive of AIB on 1 January 1994. He is 59 years of age and is a native of Carrick-on-Suir, County Tipperary. He attended CBS Carrick-on-Suir and St Kierans College, Kilkenny. Mr Mulcahy holds a B Comm Degree from University College, Dublin and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Fellow of the Institute of Bankers. In March 1998, Mr Mulcahy was appointed President of the Institute of Bankers and he is President of the Irish Chapter of the Ireland-United States Council for Commerce and Industry Inc.
