THOMAS U. KOLL is President and Chief Executive Officer of Infowave
Software, Inc. Previously, he was Vice President of Microsoft's Network
Solutions Group and was responsible for Microsoft's worldwide business
with telecommunication companies in the wireline and wireless markets,
network equipment providers and Internet service providers. Mr. Koll was
instrumental in developing Microsoft's vision for mobility and initiated
its wireless strategy. Prior to this, he was General Manager of the
Dedicated System Group and also served as General Manager of Microsoft's
worldwide business planning and strategy. Mr. Koll joined Microsoft in
1988 and transferred to Redmond, Washington, in 1997 from Microsoft-
Germany where he was the acting Country Manager. He holds a Master's
degree in Political Science from the Free University of Berlin. Profile
