THOMAS HULL – LOWRY HILL

THOMAS S. HULL, Chief Investment Officer, is one of Lowry Hill's founding Principals. He joined Wells Fargo (then known as Norwest) in 1983 as a portfolio manager in the Capital Management Group and assisted in the 1986 structuring and launch of Lowry Hill (formerly Norwest Capital Advisers). In addition to managing portfolios, Mr. Hull is responsible for research and stock selection in the finance sector. In 1988, he created Lowry Hill's Small Cap equity product and continues to work as a member of the Small Cap team. In 1999, he co-developed the Lowry Hill Real Estate Investment Trust product. Before joining Wells Fargo, Mr. Hull was the Senior Investment Officer at National City Bank in Minneapolis, where he managed the common trust funds and trust portfolios from 1980 to 1983. He served as assistant treasurer at US Bancorp (formerly First Bank System) from 1978 to 1980, where he both developed financial tools and analytics for the parent company and managed various investor relations functions. From 1972 to 1977, before starting business school, Mr. Hull worked in the trust department at the First National Bank of Minneapolis. His initial responsibilities included trust administration in the employee benefit area and research work on closely-held companies. During his later years, Mr. Hull managed trust portfolios in both the employee benefit area and the personal trust area. Mr. Hull earned an MBA degree with a major in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1978. He earned his Chartered financial Analyst designation in 1985 and has been an active member of the Twin Cities Society of Security Analysts. He completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1970 with a major in political science. Mr. Hull and his wife have two children and live in Wayzata, Minnesota. He is actively involved in the community, having served as a trustee of the Wayzata Community Church, an advisory board member for the University of Minnesota, and as a hockey coach for the Wayzata Youth Hockey Association.
