The Private Bank of California – David R. Misch

David R. Misch is Chief Executive Officer of The Private Bank of California and has nearly 30 years of experience in the banking industry. Throughout his career in banking, Mr. Misch developed an extensive knowledge of commercial and private banking. His time as CEO for 1st Business Bank in Los Angeles and in a similar position at United National Bank in Miami, for BNY Mellon, are a testament to his ability to manage community banking organizations. Before joining The Private Bank of California, Mr. Misch spent 20 years at Mellon Bank, where he was in middle-market banking before ascending to the positions of Chief Credit Officer, Head of Strategy and Development, and Head of Private Banking. Before that, he spent five years at Lloyds Bank doing middle market and real estate transactions and several years at PNC Financial handling loans for small and midsized businesses. Mr. Misch participates on the board of directors of the California Bankers Association, as well as the board of trustees of Woodbury University and the Catholic Education Foundation. He is also a Member of Legatus, a Catholic CEO organization, and has served previously on the board of the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation, South Hills Interfaith Ministries, Smeal College of Business at Pennsylvania State University and Western Pennsylvania Development Corporation.
