David Strasser is a Managing Director-Equity Research for the retail sector at Janney Montgomery Scott LLC. Before Janney Montgomery Scott, he worked as a Managing Director at Banc of America Securities covering consumer retail stocks in hardline/broadline retailing. Before that, Mr. Strasser was a Founding Partner of Moda Partners and Co-Founder of the retail/consumer sector hedge fund. Before his tenure at Moda Partners, he was the Consumer Group Sector Head at Andor Capital. Before that, he was a Senior Research Analyst at Citigroup, where he covered the hardlines retail sector. In 2000, Mr. Strasser was named a runnerup on the Institutional Investor All-America Research Team.
