Secular-growth Plays In The Ag Chemicals Industry – David Begleiter – Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc.

David Begleiter follows the U.S. chemicals and agriculture industries for the North American equity research group of Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc., which he joined in August 2002. A Securities Analyst for the past 16 years, Mr. Begleiter previously covered the chemicals industry as Senior Analyst for ABN AMRO and Credit Suisse First Boston. Prior to his equity research career, Mr. Begleiter worked as a Corporate Banking Officer, serving the natural resources industry at Bank of Montreal and Midland Bank. He also worked as an Accountant at Coopers & Lybrand. Mr. Begleiter holds an MBA in finance from New York University and a B.A. in political science from Haverford College. TWST: Where are you focusing your attention in the agricultural chemical space?

Mr. Begleiter: Currently we are focusing our attention on the seed side of the business, given the technology-based
