Sam Galeotos – Cheap Tickets Inc (ctix)

SAM E. GALEOTOS, President and CEO of Cheap Tickets, Inc., is charged with the long-term strategic direction for the company. After joining Cheap Tickets in October 1999 as President and Chief Operating Officer, he was appointed Executive Officer in February 2001. Mr. Galeotos is also a member of the Cheap Tickets Board of Directors. Mr. Galeotos has 18 years of experience in the travel technology industry, having most recently served as co-Chief Executive Officer for Worldspan, a computer reservations systems that provides global communications and electronic distribution of products for the world's leading travel service providers. During his tenure there, he was responsible for global operations in the company's three major lines: global distribution systems, travel supplier services and e-commerce. Mr. Galeotos also held management positions at Delta Air Lines, Inc. and DatasLink Business Systems, a former subsidiary of Delta. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with majors in Accounting and Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona, and he is a graduate of The Wharton School's Advanced Management Program at the University of Pennsylvania.
