Roundtable Forum: South & Southeastern Regional Banks

JEFFERSON L. HARRALSON, CFA, is a Vice President and member of the SunTrust Robinson Humphrey Capital Markets research team covering southeastern regional banks. Mr. Harralson has been expanding SunTrust Robinson Humphrey's research coverage of community banks, which now includes 22 institutions across the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast and Southwest. Mr. Harralson joined Robinson Humphrey in December 1997 after six years of experience in the bank consulting industry, most recently with Alex Sheshunoff Management Services (ASM). At ASM, Mr. Harralson served as a Financial Analyst, providing various analytics and opportunity assessments to community banks across the country. Before ASM, Mr. Harralson was a Financial Analyst at another bank consulting firm, US Banking Alliance, where he consulted community banks on an array of financial matters and developed analytical software. Davis, Jeffrey S.
Jeffrey S. Davis is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for Perficient, Inc., where he leads daily business operations and directs the development and execution of the company’s global growth strategy and initiatives. He became the Chief Executive Officer of the company and a member of the board in 2009 and became Chairman of the board in February 2017. He previously served as the Chief Operating Officer of the company following its acquisition of Vertecon in April 2002 and was the company’s President from 2004 through 2021. He served the same role of Chief Operating Officer at Vertecon from October 1999 to its acquisition by the company. Before Vertecon, Mr. Davis was a senior manager and member of the leadership team in Arthur Andersen’s Business Consulting Practice, where he was responsible for defining and managing internal processes, while managing business development and delivery of all products, services, and solutions to a number of large accounts. Mr. Davis also served in leadership positions at Ernst and Young, LLP in the Management Consulting practice and in industry at Boeing, Inc. and Mallinckrodt, Inc. Mr. Davis is an active member of the board of directors of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of St. Louis, is a member of the University of Missouri Trulaske College of Business advisory board, and sits on the board for St. Luke’s Hospital. He holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Missouri. Profile
CHRISTOPHER M. MUTASCIO is a Principal at Legg Mason Wood Walker, Inc., and a member of the Financial Services Group. Prior to joining Legg Mason, he was employed by the U.S. Treasury Department in the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. CHARLES N. ERNST joined Putnam Lovell Securities, Inc., in June 1999 as a Research Analyst in the Commercial Banking sector. He was recently promoted to Vice President. While at Putnam Lovell, Mr. Ernst's coverage has focused on Southeastern banks, while dedicating time to other larger issues within the banking sector. Prior to joining Putnam Lovell, Mr. Ernst was an associate on the second highest ranked 1999 bank team, according to Institutional Investor, while at Salomon Smith Barney. Earlier he worked at Smith Barney Capital Management. Mr. Ernst holds a BS in Economics from Denison University. Jason Goldberg is a Senior Vice President and Senior Research Analyst at Lehman Brothers covering the Regional Banking industry. He joined Lehman in July 2000. He began covering the banking industry in June 1995 at Smith Barney and then at Salomon Smith Barney. He was named to the Institutional Investor magazine's All-American Research Team for Mid-Cap Banks in 2002, ranking #1, the inaugural year of this category. He also placed second among all bank analysts in the 2002 StarMine/NASDAQ annual survey for earnings estimate accuracy.
