RON STRAUSS – PEKIN, SINGER & SHAPIRO ASSET MANAGEMENT

RON STRAUSS, CFA, is Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of Pekin, Singer & Shapiro Asset Management. He has been managing the assets of wealthy individuals with the firm since 1996. Mr. Strauss began his career as a Trainee in the International Department of the Chase Manhattan Bank. He subsequently became an analyst in the Corporate Research Department of Montgomery Ward and was promoted to Project Manager. He was also adjunct Associate Professor at Loyola University. Prior to joining Pekin, Singer and Shapiro, Mr. Strauss was a securities analyst, director of research and general partner at Mesirow and Company. He then moved to William Blair & Company as an analyst and became a partner of the firm. Mr. Strauss was recently awarded the Mary Herrick Humanitarian of the Year Award. Asset Management and your responsibilities there?

Mr. Strauss: Pekin Singer is a financial advisor that opened its
