RICHARD GOLDMAN is Managing Director and head of the Common Stock
Department of The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America. He
is the Portfolio Manager of the Guardian Park Avenue Fund, the
flagship fund within The Park Avenue Portfolio. Mr. Goldman has
18 years of investment industry experience. Prior to joining
Guardian in 2001, he was Director and Senior Portfolio Manager
for Citigroup Asset Management and Citigroup's Smith Barney unit.
Mr. Goldman earned an MBA degree in Finance from New York
University and a BS degree in Finance and Economics from Lehigh
University. He enjoys spending time with his two daughters,
