RAYMOND BARRETTE was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of
White Mountains Insurance Group, Ltd. on January 1, 2003 and has been a
Director since 2000. Mr. Barrette was CEO of OneBeacon Insurance Group
from June 2001 to December 2002 where he remains Chairman. Mr. Barrette
joined White Mountains Insurance Group in November 1997 as Executive
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He was President from
January 2000 ' June 2001. Prior to joining White Mountains Insurance
Group, Mr. Barrette had 23 years experience in the insurance business
predominantly with Fireman's Fund. He is also Chairman of the White
Mountains Re Group, Ltd., and serves as a Director of Montpelier Re and
other White Mountains subsidiaries. Profile
