Packaging Stocks: Joel Tiss – Lehman Brothers Inc

JOEL TISS has been a Senior Vice President with Lehman Brothers, Inc., since 1998 and has been with the company for 16 years. He has been covering the containers and packaging industry for six and a half years. Prior to his coverage of the containers and packaging sector, he provided analytical support for two Institutional Investor-rated conglomerate analysts (1985-1991) and followed many miscellaneous industrial companies (1991-1995). Mr. Tiss has placed on the Institutional Investor magazine list consistently since he began covering the packaging group. He has also been ranked in the Greenwich survey for packaging. Recently, Mr. Tiss has added coverage of six industrial machinery companies while maintaining coverage of his packaging universe. He graduated from the State University of New York at Cortland with a degree in Economics in 1986, did graduate work in Finance at Hofstra University in the mid-1990s and has passed two levels of the CFA exam.
