Kon, Michael
Michael Kon, CFA, Equity Analyst at Golub Group LLC, brings eight years of experience in securities and financial analysis to Golub Group's research team. Prior to joining the Golub Group, Mr. Kon was a Senior Analyst covering the financial sector for Morningstar, a leading independent investment research headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. He has previously held positions as an Equity Associate at CIBC World Markets in Toronto and as M&A Attorney at Rotman Co in Israel. Golub, Michael
Michael Golub, Founder and CEO of Golub Group LLC, began his career in the securities industry in 1967. His 45 years in different investment climates give him a depth of experience and perspective possessed by few in the industry today. His principal responsibility at Golub Group is to direct the firm’s activities and to serve as its Senior Portfolio Manager. Mr. Golub is a graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder with a B.S. in finance. Gordon, Matt
Matt Gordon, CFA, is Equity Analyst at Golub Group LLC. He brings more than six years of investment analysis experience to Golub Group. Prior to joining the firm, he was an Equity Analyst at Chordant Capital Partners. Mr. Gordon earned his B.A. in computer science from Amherst College and his MBA from Columbia Business School, where he was selected to participate in the university’s renowned Value Investing Program.  Profile
Hoefer, Kurt
Kurt Hoefer, CFA, is Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst at Golub Group LLC, and he brings over 19 years of investment analysis, equity research and portfolio management experience to the Golub Group. Prior to joining the firm, he founded and built Hoefer Capital Management, LLC, to counsel families and individuals on investment and financial matters. Previously, he was an Investment Banker with Thomas Weisel Partners and Banc of America Securities, an institutional Stock Analyst at Salomon Brothers and a member of the investment team for a family office, Shamrock Capital Partners. Mr. Hoefer received his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Stanford University. Profile
Dowling, John
John Dowling, CFA, is the Golub Group’s Chief Investment Officer. In addition, Mr. Dowling is Chairman of the firm’s three-person investment committee. Before joining the Golub Group in 2007, Mr. Dowling was a generalist analyst covering North American markets for Peters MacGregor Capital Management, a value investment firm headquartered in Australia. He has previously held positions as a senior valuation associate at Standard & Poor’s and PricewaterhouseCoopers and as Credit Analyst at Wells Fargo Bank. Colin Higgins, President, Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst at Golub Group LLC, brings over 15 years of investment analysis, equity research and portfolio management experience to Golub Group. Prior to the formation of the Golub Group, Mr. Higgins served as a Research Analyst and Portfolio Manager with regional investment firms Branch Cabell & Co. and Hoefer and Arnett, Inc.
