Outlook For The Utility Industry: Richard Smith – Deutsche Bank Securities

RICHARD SMITH has been President, Chief Executive Officer, and a Director of Tri Counties Bank and TriCo Bancshares since November 1999. TCB is a community bank founded 20 years ago that has grown from an initial $1 million investment to $630 million in assets by predominately serving rural communities throughout Northern California. Mr. Smith joined the Bank in 1993 as Vice President- Supermarket Banking. In 1994, he served as Vice President and Chief Information Officer of the Bank. He then became Senior Vice President ' Customer/Employee Support and Control in 1995 and became Executive Vice President in the same capacity in October 1997.
