Outlook For High-speed Internet Companies: F.drake Johnstone – Davenport & Co Llc

F. Drake Johnstone has been First Vice President of Research for Davenport & Company since 1998 and is responsible for company and industry research in the cable, telecommunications and technology sectors. The Wall Street Journal, in its 2002 Best on the Street analysts survey, recognized Mr. Johnstone as the number one wireline telecommunications analyst. The Wall Street Journal also recognized Mr. Johnstone for his performance in the wireline telecom sector in its 2001 Best on the Street analysts survey. Prior to joining Davenport, Mr. Johnstone was head of media and telecommunications research at Signet Bank from 1995 to 1997. He earned an MBA degree from the University of Virginia's Darden Business School and a BA degree from Yale University.
