Outlook For E-learning: Claire Schooley – Forrester Research

CLAIRE SCHOOLEY is a Senior Industry Analyst covering e-learning at Forrester Research. She has more than 20 years of experience in education and technical training. Most recently, she was Director of the Grants Resource Center at the Alameda County Office of Education. Her charter was to create the vision, plan development and set policy for a resource and technical assistance center for educators and community members, and to develop and produce e-learning courses for educators. Previously, she directed and managed math and science technology training institutes, which assisted educators in integrating technology into the public school curriculum, at Lawrence Hall of Science, UC Berkeley. She also evaluated computer and video coursework and produced video programs. Additionally, Ms. Schooley served as Director of Instruction Television Service for KQED in San Francisco. She developed the broadcast service for schools and produced educational programs for children and adults. She holds a BS from Bridgewater State College and an MS in Education from Northeastern University and has completed doctoral work at the University of Illinois, Champaign/Urbana, in Elementary Education.
