Outlook For Consumer Packaged Goods: Roddy Martin – Amr Research Inc

RODDY MARTIN is Service Director, CPG/Life Sciences Industry Service at AMR Research, Inc. He is responsible for leading AMR Research's analysis and research in consumer products manufacturing, including the food, beverage, consumer packaged goods, pharmaceutical and biotech markets. He has 22 years of experience, most recently as an executive at South African Breweries, the fourth-largest brewer in the world. Previous experience includes seven years with ISCOR Iron and Steel Manufacturers as a technician and millwright, and 10 years with G.H. Marais and Partners, a firm of consulting electrical and electronic engineers. His career studies have included a Millwright Trade, a National Diploma for Technicians, a four-year Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree completed cum laude with external awards for design and thesis, and an Executive Management Development Program. He was educated at Hilton College in Natal, South Africa, at Pretoria Technicon and the University of Pretoria, South Africa. He speaks frequently at local industry trade conferences, user group meetings and executive conferences.
