OUTLOOK FOR ASSET MANAGERS: CYNTHIA MAYER – MERRILL LYNCH GLOBAL SECURITIES

CYNTHIA MAYER joined Merrill Lynch Global Securities in March 2003 as an Analyst with a focus on asset managers. In 2004, the team ranked first in the Institutional Investor All-America Research team survey for coverage of brokers and asset managers. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Ms. Mayer worked as a Research Associate at Salomon Smith Barney, covering asset managers, brokers, online brokers and specialty pharmaceuticals. Before attending business school, she worked as a reporter for The Philadelphia Inquirer, The St. Petersburg Times and American Lawyer magazine, and she was a Knight-Bagehot Fellow from 1994-1995. Ms. Mayer received a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia University in 1998 and her Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Stanford University in 1981. Profile
