Richard Schafer is Executive Director and an Analyst in CIBC
World Markets' equity research department, where he has covered
the telecommunications equipment industry, specifically optical
networking and fiber optic components, for the past five years.
Prior to joining CIBC World Markets, Mr. Schafer worked as a
