Neal C. Hansen is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CSG Systems
International, Inc. Mr. Hansen became Chairman and Chief Executive
Officer of CSG Systems International, Inc. after directing the
acquisition of CSG from First Data Resources in 1994. Under Mr. Hansen's
leadership, CSG Systems International, Inc. (NASDAQ: CSGS) has grown
from an $83-million company with approximately 550 employees in Omaha,
Nebraska to a publicly held, $200-plus million international corporation
employing over 1,250 people as of the third quarter of 1998. Mr. Hansen
has spearheaded CSG's growth as a leading customer care and billing
provider to the cable, direct satellite, data services and telephony
markets. CSG is based in Denver, Colorado with operations in Omaha,
Nebraska; Hilton Head, South Carolina; Tallahassee, Florida; Slough,
United Kingdom; and Budapest, Hungary. Prior to the acquisition, Mr.
Hansen co-founded Hansen, Haddix and Associates, an advisory management
services and private investment firm, where he served as General Partner
from 1989 to 1994. In 1984, Mr. Hansen joined Applied Communications,
Inc., first as Executive Vice President, to create a successful sales
and marketing organization. During his tenure, annual revenues increased
from $5 million to $75 million. He was named President and Chief
Executive Officer of Applied Communications, Inc., which became the
world's largest provider of transaction processing software for
financial institutions. In addition, he was instrumental in a public
offering of ACI and later selling the company to US WEST. After the
sale, he remained with US WEST as President of US WEST Data Systems
Group, and was responsible for the operation and strategic direction of
five US WEST software and services companies. Prior to that, Mr. Hansen
co-founded First Data Resources, Inc. in 1971. He spent 12 years in
various senior positions with First Data Resources, helping develop and
grow the company to over $200 million in annual revenues. Mr. Hansen's
career also included management roles with International Business
Machines, after starting his career in 1967 as Product Engineer for
Eastman Kodak. Mr. Hansen has been active and served on the Boards of
numerous professional and service organizations, including the National
Cable Television Association, Junior Achievement, Physicians' Clinic,
Nebraska Independent College Foundation, Methodist School of Nursing,
Methodist Hospital, Nebraska Wesleyan University and the Conservative
Savings Bank. He has also served as a Board member for numerous private
corporations. Mr. Hansen holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering
