Medical Device & Hospital Supply Outlook: David Lothson – Ubs Warburg

DAVID J. LOTHSON is a Managing Director in the healthcare group of UBS Warburg Equity Research. An analyst since 1973, he specializes in the hospital supply and medical devices industries. In 1996, he was named runner-up on the Institutional Investor All-America Research team in healthcare services/managed care. In 2000, Mr. Lothson was also ranked number five in earnings forecasting in the medical products category by The Wall Street Journal All-Star Analyst Survey. Prior to joining UBS Warburg, Mr. Lothson was the Hospital Supply and Medical Devices Industry Analyst at PaineWebber Incorporated. Before that Mr. Lothson worked for Kidder Peabody & Co., Chemical Bank, and Central Trust Company. He has an MBA in Finance from Xavier University and a BA in Philosophy from Roosevelt University.
