Mark Hunter – Axon Group Plc (axo.l)

MARK HUNTER is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Axon Group Plc. He has over a decade of experience in the IT industry, including four years senior manager at SAP UK. The Axon Group was successfully floated on the London Stock Exchange in March 1999. Aged 37, Mr Hunter was educated at Queen's University Belfast. After his first degree in Biology, his interest in computing led him to complete a MSc in Computing, before joining Unilever as a business analyst. Three years later he left to become a SAP international trainee. In 1991 he then moved across to the newly formed SAP UK sales business. Mr Hunter capitalised on his experience in 1994 and seized the opportunity to implement SAP systems faster and more effectively than other existing consultancies by setting up his own company - Axon.
