Mark Giese – Nicholas Company

MARK J. GIESE is a Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Nicholas Company. He has spent the last decade evaluating financial, healthcare, information technology and telecommunications companies. He also manages the exclusive Nicholas Liberty Fund, a best-ideas fund, which is available only to Wisconsin residents. While a student, Mr. Giese interned with Cleary Gull, where he researched a broad variety of companies and began modeling Harley Davidson's finance division. In 1994, he joined Nicholas Company as a generalist research analyst and in December 2001, he became manager of the newly introduced Liberty Fund. Mr. Giese is a sportsman who enjoys skiing, golf and hunting. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Madison with a BBA degree in Accounting and Finance and went on to earn an MS degree in Finance.
